This plate is specifically designed for use with the #AIPH1 Induction Plate Activator. Its special bottom coating allows induction magnetic heating of plate. This plate is engineered with a cool-to-touch plate rim for safe and comfortable handling during use. It delivers a charge time of approximately 20 seconds from ambient temperature, ensuring rapid readiness for service. This plate provides a hold time of 25 to 30 minutes when used with an insulated dome, keeping food warm and ready to serve. Crafted from a premium blend of kaolin (50%), quartz (25%), and feldspar (25%) for superior durability and performance. Product Specification: Lakeside Model AIP9-1 by Seltmann Weiden is able to charge (heat) by magnetic induction using Lakeside Model AIPH1 Plate Activator. Plates are 9” diameter with special induction-ready coating on the bottom within the plate foot. Porcelain consists of kaolin (50%), quartz (25%) and feldspar (25%) composition for better transparency, and is lead- and cadmium-free. Plate edges are rolled to reduce chipping and breakage. The unglazed foot of the plate is polished to eliminate abrasion to other plates and surfaces.
