Are you a skilled technical professional with leadership capabilities and a passion for customer-driven solutions? We're hiring a Sales Engineering Lead to guide and support our technical pre-sales engineering team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in West Milwaukee, WI, at a growing manufacturer of stainless steel food serving counters.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support a team of 3–5 Sales Engineers
- Collaborate with sales reps to evaluate customer needs and create technical proposals
- Oversee and execute AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings to ensure technical accuracy
- Coordinate with production and design engineering teams to execute custom projects
- Optimize sales engineering processes using Excel, NetSuite, and CRM platforms
- Support trade shows and occasional site visits (not greater than 25% travel)
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years in technical sales or applications engineering (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience as a team lead, senior engineer, or in a mentorship role
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, CRM systems, and NetSuite
- Strong customer collaboration and team coordination skills
