Lakeside is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and support machine operators in our manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting customer requirements and company goals.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
Schedule: 5-day workweek – Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise, train, and support machine operators in a manufacturing environment.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements; promote a strong safety culture.
Monitor production performance, scrap, and downtime; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure products meet Lakeside quality standards and customer specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and materials teams to resolve production issues.
Maintain accurate production records, labor tracking, and reports using the Netsuite ERP system.
Coach, develop, and evaluate team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management.
Enforce company policies, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Support cross-training and workforce flexibility within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred (associate or bachelor's in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related field).
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Working knowledge of manufacturing machinery and production processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production reports.
Experience using ERP systems; Netsuite experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
