Summary: Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of laminate, wood, plywood, and wallboard, by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Studies blueprints or sketches, for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
• Assists Engineering as needed to insure designs that can be manufactured efficiently.
• Prepares layout.
• Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Shapes materials to prescribed measurements.
• Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Program and run CNC Wood Router.
• Set up and run edgebander
• Edgeband complex laminate designs by hand.
• Lay up laminate and veneer on 4x8 and 5x8 sheets of substrate.
• Slot and T-mold panels.
• General knowledge of wood working tools such as table saw, trim router, pocket screw boring machine etc.
