Lakeside Manufacturing is a $50M manufacturer and distributor based in West Milwaukee, WI looking for our Director of Marketing.
The organization is focused on growth, and this position will be supporting an aggressive sales strategy. This role is responsible for connecting the vision from the Executive team and translating that to all facets that marketing touches.
We need a self-directed leader that can execute marketing strategies to desired outcomes. This position is tremendous for the right candidate.
If you need someone to create a plan for you, a rule book to guide your day, someone to tell you what to do, or need frequent affirmation from an authority figure; this is NOT the job for you.
The Director of Marketing will need the following:
- A desire to win, and build winning teams
- The ability to self-direct
- A quick study, able to connect at a high level and run with it
- Effective management of a budget
- Ability to play on the senior leadership team level
- 8+ years of building, developing, and managing marketing teams
- Marketing and business acumen
- Excellent problem solving, communication and team building skills.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree, preferably advanced degree.
- Demonstrable track record of accomplishments
- 5+ years of leadership experience within marketing, understanding B2B and B2C and a 2-tier distribution model.
